After graduating from college (UNI) with a Bachelor's (BA) Degree in
Management, I served 16 loyal years with a large insurance company, managing
others and selling products (disability, health insurance, life, major medical,
mutual funds, and did family financial planning and retirement planning). I
enjoyed coaching others and successfully moving up the corporate ladder. One day
the ladder had stopped and with corporate changes came limited opportunities. I
decided it was time to get out of the investment, insurance and financial
industry.
When I
left the business, I turned down many offers to sell for other financial
institutions. I was tired of selling products and wanted nothing to do with it.
Fourteen months later I was introduced to a process called LEAP®
.
Please understand my financial picture. When I got out of the financial
business; I left with what I thought was the "ideal financial strategy". I had
read the books, listened to the experts and bought the magazines; I thought I
had strategies working for me;
- I owned stocks
- I owned several rentals with income
- I owned term insurance and I invested the difference
- I owned mutual funds for my four kids' college education
- I owned a home and was paying down my mortgage to save interest costs
- I had a retirement account building
- compound interest was working
- debt was not a problem
Then I
was introduced to LEAP, the morally, ethically, and economically sound
strategic approach to making financial decisions. I listened and decided to
turn over all my financials to a LEAP financial representative for evaluation.
The representative went through my past decisions and showed me the areas and
products I had purchased that were not efficient and effective in building

of used-GONE! What I really saw was how much I would lose over the next 20

Now it is 2004. As I look back, the many
strategies I have used have recovered thousands dollars of costs, more in
reduced taxes, and a strategy to keep strong growth with less risk. IT
WILL BE WELL OVER ONE MILLION DOLLARS I

Back to those first days...I couldn't sleep for two nights. I was mad. I was
mad at me, I was mad at financial institutions, I was mad at the government. I
lost another night's sleep trying to seek the right answer for my family
financially and then my career. That is when I decided to get back into the
financial game. However, this time I would come back in on the education
side.
I want to teach others how not to make the same mistakes I made. It is not
about product, it is about strategies with what you own!
